Our Story
EMMANUEL JIMENEZ: CHRIST-FOLLOWER, HUSBAND, FATHER, PASTOR,
Emmanuel serves as Pastor at FBC Gustine. He has his B.A. in Ministry and Master's of Theology from Howard Payne University. He has served in ministry since 2003. He has had opportunities to speak and lead worship at different events, camps, revivals and has published a series of sermons. He was recruited by Jon Randles to help plan and speak at the first ever JREA Youth Camp at Camp Chaparral Baptist Assembly. He has led and co-led mission trips to Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Dallas, TX, Garland, TX, Mexico, Camoapa City in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Haiti, and Germany. For fun Emmanuel loves playing guitar, lifting weights and playing with his kids.Emmanuel has a heart for the unchurched, dechurched, and lost.
BETHANY JIMENEZ: CHRIST-FOLLOWER, MOM, Pastor's Wife, GRAPHIC ARTIST
Bethany became a Christ-follower at the age of 9 and grew up in a loving Christian home. Bethany is from Georgetown, TX and enjoys spending time with her family, jogging, sports and all things creative. She and Emmanuel met at Howard Payne University where Bethany majored in Graphic Art and minored in missions. They have awesome kids, Sophie Jimenez, Coen Jimenez, and James Jimenez.
Bethany has gone on mission trips to Haiti (twice), Arizona, Malawi, and Egypt. It was through these trips that the Lord began drawing Bethany’s heart toward ministry and reaching the lost.
